Every Day Seems to End with a "Y"

What day is it? My wife asked me earlier in the week to join an online web call for Ms Sarah’s school and so last night at the dinner table she asked “How was the call?”. And I told her that the call is scheduled for tomorrow - Friday. She politely reminded me that today was Friday. Oops. So, I guess I missed the call.

Eataly Toronto - A Review

So what is Eataly? According to their website the first location opened in Torino Italy on January 27, 2007, by its creator Oscar Farinetti with the idea that it be much more than a store. He wanted to create a school, a market, a table to gather around, a place to learn about food and, through food, about life. Sounds quite noble. There are now 40 locations across the world.

Gusto 501 Review

One of the hottest restaurants in the “Six” is a new place called https://www.gusto501.com/ and I’ve been keeping my eye on it trying to find the right time to go. When I read about the new location and looked at the reviews, I knew that it was a place I wanted to try.

NY State of Mind

In the classic Billy Joel song the writer uses these poignant words “But I’m taking a greyhound on the Hudson river line, I’m in a New York state of mind. Every-time I hear those words, I am reminded of the wonderful visits I have had and usually around now, I clearly want to be in a “New York State of Mind.”

Hamilton

Yep, the Broadway hit musical Hamilton has finally arrived with over 50,000 tickets sold in the opening days according to the Toronto Star.  The planned run for the show is not that long - February 11 to May 17th and early reviews of the Toronto roadshow have been very positive.  Here’s what I loved about this one of a kind show!

Fitness Obsession

I think I’ve always been preoccupied with staying fit whether it came from playing tennis, running, swimming or any other interesting activity. And, as I have gotten older, I’ve become more aware of the need to stay fit. Both physically and mentally.

My current favorite activity is using the Peloton App for beginners
